Becoming A Host Family
We are always looking for people who can accommodate international students at our school in Ramsgate.
To become a homestay host you would need to have a comfortable, clean and well-equipped house with a comfortable spare room available to accommodate students.
Apart from providing accommodation, homestays are required to provide meals – usually half board – cleaning, laundry and pastoral support, working alongside our team at the school.
All hosts are required to comply with UK laws (e.g. having gas safety checks carried out annually) and all adults in the household will be required to undergo a full DBS check as part of our Safeguarding policy.
In return, we offer the rewarding experience or working with international students and a good weekly allowance for the accommodation.
