Set within the beautiful grounds of a historic English boarding school, St Edmund’s offers an inspiring summer school experience close to the heart of Canterbury. Students can improve their English, experience British culture and build friendships with young people from around the world.

The centre combines the character and traditions of St Edmund’s School with excellent facilities, including a heated outdoor swimming pool, extensive sports areas and a historic chapel used for Churchill House graduation ceremonies. Canterbury’s medieval streets, shops and cultural attractions are also within easy reach.

Students may stay in traditional boarding accommodation at St Edmund’s or in en-suite single rooms at the University of Kent, just across the road. This choice of accommodation, together with the varied programme, makes St Edmund’s an excellent option for both younger and older students.

Accommodation

St Edmund’s offers two styles of residential accommodation.

St Edmund’s School Accommodation

Traditional boarding-school accommodation within the historic St Edmund’s campus. Students are close to their classrooms, dining facilities and activities, creating a welcoming community atmosphere.

University of Kent Accommodation

En-suite single rooms at the University of Kent, located just across the road from St Edmund’s is available with a supplement. These rooms provide students with additional privacy while allowing them to remain fully involved in the centre’s lessons, activities and international community.

Full-board accommodation is included as standard.
